One of Europe’s most talked-about Afro-jazz acts arrives at Nefertiti.

Jembaa Groove opens its 2026 tour with new material and an updated lineup, weaving highlife, jazz and afrobeats into a warm, rhythmic and deeply organic sound. Rooted in Berlin and closely connected to Lagos’s growing Afro-fusion scene, the band continues to push the boundaries of modern jazz.

Following sold-out concerts across Europe, their first US tour and acclaimed appearances at festivals including Lowlands and XJAZZ, Jembaa Groove enters a new chapter, with collaborations involving The Cavemen, Fatoumata Diawara, Tim Lyre and Azekel.

In 2026, they are also joined by acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Kwame Yeboah (Stevie Wonder, Pat Thomas and others), taking the band’s already explosive live show to another level.
