Guided by a raw, intimate approach, Mwuana goes off-road with his new band, The Mwuanas. This autumn brings an extensive nationwide tour: a musical detour where freedom comes first.

Mwuana has long been one of Swedish music’s most distinctive voices. Since his critically acclaimed debut Triller (2017), which won the P3 Guld Hip-Hop of the Year award and earned three Swedish Grammis nominations, he has consistently followed his own path — musically, linguistically and artistically. Moving between hip-hop, R&B and alternative pop, and switching naturally between Swedish and English, he has established a position entirely his own.

In recent years, Mwuana has continued to expand his artistry. The documentary Mwuana: Framför allt, which premiered at Way Out West in 2024, offered an intimate look at his creative process and personal motivations. That same year, several notable live appearances, including at Cirkus in Stockholm, demonstrated once again why he is considered one of Sweden’s most captivating performers.

In summer 2025, he released HEAT, a project that confirmed his ability to keep evolving without losing the expression that makes him unique. With more than a hundred released songs, millions of streams and a steadily growing audience, Mwuana remains one of Swedish music’s most appreciated and respected artists. In autumn 2026, he sets out on an extensive Swedish tour. With a singular musical voice and a career defined by curiosity, conviction and constant development, he continues to push the boundaries of his artistry — on his own terms.
