Maia Hirasawa releases concept album 25 Days on 29 January 2027. In March, she takes the music on the road for special performances in Malmö, Stockholm and Gothenburg.

With 25 Days, Hirasawa explores how hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle can affect wellbeing, creativity and identity. The album consists of eleven songs, each representing a particular day, feeling and state of mind connected to the body’s hormonal shifts.

Through the project, Maia makes the body’s natural rhythm part of the creative process itself. Rather than following traditional, often norm-driven ways of working, she reverses the perspective, allowing the cycle to shape both the creative work and the story.

‘Playing live is what I have always loved most. Making this album has truly been a journey, and it isn’t over yet. Now I want to find a new way to bring 25 Days onto the stage. It will be so exciting to make these new songs come alive for the audience. I can’t wait!’ says an eager Maia Hirasawa.
